I especially like the 'Team to Beat' Pack, featuring the Sillies... That is REAL classy, Mets Ticket Department!!!

If you were trying to incentivize people to buy tickets, what would be more enticing, a pack with 2 games against the Marlins? Or Phillies?

The Phils of course... I just wish they had chosen a name not as unfortunate...

LOL

Really, how stupid is this team? It's as if they have no clue who their fan base is.

I think when the Mets think of their fan base they think of a beer-swilling, wave-starting, free t-shirt grabbing, hand clapping idiot.

Only this bunch of sad sacks could start a marketing campaign based on the rallying cry the competition used to beat them.

Its comical.

The Mets Marketing Dept has ALWAYS reminded me of the classic Three Stooges short when Moe, Larry, and Curly pose as plumbers...

That's the problem.

-Worst regular season collapse in baseball history
-front office calls collapse "just two bad weeks"
-Wilpon does nothing to improve team for the second year in a row.
-Mets use 2007 Philly rallying call as the name of one of their dopey ticket packages.
-Wilpon raises ticket prices up to 20%

And what is the likely result? Wilpon cashes in as close to 4 million fans walk through the turnstiles at Shea in 2008.

Wilpon DOES have MORE THAN A CLUE of the Mets fan base, my friend.
