hey, dave howard did say they were going to add more payroll.

now nobody can complain about ticket prices. they're going to add a proven veteran as the bottom line who can eat innings and knows how to get it done, and these september's games will be the most meaningfulest to date.

This **** makes a one year deal for Livan look like an attractive possibility. Maybe that's a part of Omar's grand scheme.

Lohse stinks. I can understand the arguments behind bringing in Livan, Carlos Silva, or a gamble like Colon or Prior. Lohse has no upside - he's a poor man's Trachsel. I pray that the Mets don't bring in Lohse.
