I think BRD was advocating getting a pitcher rather than worrying about another hitter

I think Andrew is going to go for a one year deal somewhere and hope that he can have a monster year and cash in next year. I think he will go to a good hitters park where he can put up great numbers. An interesting thought I had earlier was maybe he would end up in Boston if they sent Ellsbury to Minn for Santana.

I'd go a little higher than that, but I agree with your general idea - Andruw would have to be an absolute steal before I'd want the Mets to get interested in him.

If Cameron and Beltran almost killed each other out there, what kind of damage would fatty Andruw do? Would they even see each other? One of them plays in the parking lot, and the other is pretty much a fifth infielder. Maybe you could put Endy in LF some days and play a zone D...

Andruw also has a sparkling .749 career OPS at Shea. He's no Larry Wayne...
