| I've been a mets fan since 1993, I am still waiting for the pay off. 3 good years in 15 years of fandom really puts things in perspective.

| Why not offer arbitration to Lo Duca? In the unlikely event that he accepts, he becomes trade bait. His arbitration salary shouldn't be unreasonable like, for example, Shawn Green's salary would if he accepted arbitration.

| Estrada is in a different situation. He's in an arbitration year but doesn't have enough MLB service time to qualify for free agency. He's a tender/non-tender player. December 12th is the last day to offer contracts to players not eligible for free agency. The Mets need to trade him, offer him a contract, elect to go to arbitration with him or non-tender him, which means he's then becomes a free agent.

| I can't get over that Kid A became a Mets fan during the 1993 season. I went to 15 games at Shea that year and saw them win a grand total of 2 times, and that 2nd game was Memorial Day weekend. |
