I don't know, shouldn't he be in NY prepping for the winter meetings? I know communications is much more possible from remote locations now, but wouldn't it be wiser to be in face to face meetings with the Mets brass to discuss possible salary parameters when considering trades or free agent signings? The timing seems to be a bit questionable.

If Milledge is dealt for pitching, we should really try to get another outfielder so that Gomez can stay in AAA for most of the year. It does not necessarily have to be Guillen however.

-Fukudome
-(If he is agreeable to switching positions) Andrew Jones

hell I could live with Endy for a month and the potential of the Collision Part II if they took a flier on Mike Cameron.

NONE of those guys will sign as a 1-year "fix", and Cameron would only come back if we traded Beltran and gave him CF.

If we want a 1-year guy who can platoon out there, AND back up 1B, might as well bring back Green.
