He was a good Gary Cohen sound-alike for the radio.

Believe it of not, if you ever listened to the other teams broadcasts on XM, you would discover that good baseball radio announcers are actually hard to come by. I hope the Mets find someone who can measure up to the NY expectations.

Tom McCarthy is wondering why the Mets are all of a sudden playing in Philadelphia and wearing red and white uniforms.

Seriously, thank God. The only thing that separates this clown from the ocean floor layer of the broadcasting world is Suzyn Waldman.

They should just create a massive Bob Murphy soundboard and use that to do play by play. Kind of like that old talking baseball game for Sega.

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

It's awful... I'll miss those Tom McCarthy says...

Oh well, I am sure we will still channel he him the way we channel Fran Healy...
