| Fat man and puppy are doing a special show featuring top 20 sports personalities of last 20 years. I think there is a good chance that Piazza will be one of them and would be on FAN tomorrow. |

| Okay, I am biased. But why can't they sign Piazza for one year and then focus on who may be available after the "08 season. I don't want to give a long term contract to a 36 year olds like Posada and LoDuca. And I don't want to hear LoDuca's mouth anymore. He's not good enough of a player to be as vocal as he is. |

| Would Piazza even sign a one year deal? How much would it cost? Why should we sign him anyway? I'd rather try to get Baltimore to go for a salary dump on Hernandez.

| His last two contracts were for one year. We need a catcher. I am not saying make him to focal point like back in the day. I just don't see the point in giving 40 million to Posada at his age which for some reason is never mentioned or a long term deal to LoDuca since management aint so happy with his attitude. Or they could go on the cheap and get a good defense/no offense nobody and improve other areas of the offense and not depend on anything from the C position. |

Also, If he had gotten hurt like Piazza did, he'd be in the same position right now.
