Wright foundation dinner benefit is coming up early in November. Wright will be everywhere trying to plug it. He will be on FAN soon as well in the morning

They'll probably try to get him to comment on A-rod.

They tried to, he didn't really say too much. Stewart tried to get him to say that ARod would be a bad clubhouse guy and bad chemistry but Wright took the high road saying something like "52 homeruns are pretty good for chemistry last time I checked." It seemed obvious that the subject was not one that he wanted to talk about but he did seem open to it.

I thought the kid did well on the interview, knowing full well he'd have to talk about the collapse and AROD in the same interview.

Obviously Wright can think on the fly. Good comeback!

He's been seen at Shea many times as well. Even joined Ronnie and Gary in the booth if I am not mistaken.

He has said many times that he is a die hard, huge Mets fan. Season tix, etc...

Makes sense. He has that sort of dark, cynical sense of humor you wouldn't expect with a diehard yanks fan.

If anyone missed it or wants to see it again, it's repeated today at 2 and 8.

I loved the replay of Stewart bouncing the ceremonial first pitch that he got to throw last season lol

One of the first SNY telecasts in '06, Chris Cotter interviewed him in the stands. Stewart: "Good to see Ronnie Darling has kept his girlish figure..."

Wright said the Mets needed pitching but also said it'd be nice if the Mets got (and I quote) "A BIG BAT." Is Wright the new president of the Big Bat society?
