Default Milledge for Harden revisited (NOT A RUMOR, just me striking up a conversation)

The kid was injured for most of last year AGAIN.

That said, is he worth the risk? Beane likes Milledge.

Blanton is a safer bet, but Harden has more upside (Haren would take more than Milledge to acquire).

There is nothing to talk about Harden is another Kerry Wood. I wouldn't trade any young player for him.

And then trade F. Martinez for Prior.

NOPE..can't do it now..

If they want to do it for a couple of B-Level prospects..sure..but RISK is WAY TOO High for any blue chips..

I was wrong on Haren..and would look into him for Milledge if possible

I don't mind speculating on Harden but for Milledge nope.

I would talk about Haren though.

Harden, Haren. What's a little "d" between friends?

Blanton averaged 6.76 innings per start in 2007 and 6.46 over his career. He can help to extend the bullpen out over a season.

Why not have a Fat Ass Rotation?

Sign Colon, Livan AND Jason Sea Level

Think of the promotions the Mets can have at Shea!

Catch the Obesity!!!

True, but those are AL (no need for a PH) innings. Tougher line-ups to face, so it kinda balances out.
