I remember always wanted to trade for Beckett and being laughed at by other fans. Well, maybe he gets bombed today and I feel a bit better :/

I also remember what it was like to be in the WS :/

Ok, we need a naked women thread, NOW.

That wurring sound is much more enjoyable then McCarver and Buck

GET THE PIECE OF CRAP McGimpy OFF MY TEAM NOW!!!!!

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

4-1 Sox after 2. Beckett blasted on 2 mistakes, but he is unhittable otherwise. It will be interesting to see if his control is sharp or not as the game progresses.

Anyone notice that when Kaz Matsui was up, the announcer wasted not so much as a nanosecond to slm the Mets?

I love how MLB, ESPN, and FOX all insist on listing a 8:00 start time just to trick people into listening to their 45 minute circus of a pre-game show now. Not that I expected it to start at that time. Hopefully it gets better without the lineups and nonsense. Every minute shaved off would be that much less torture...

McCarver of course. I can't stand the guy, but he was one of the few who was actually willing to go on record about how foolish it was to move Reyes when they signed Kaz. That pretty much covers the .001% of the time that he spends not being a hypocrite who thinks he invented the sport...

Reyes is always a huge overlooked factor in the Kaz debate though. He was the only thing worth rooting for in 2003. Anyone bumping him off his position would have had an uphill climb to begin with...

6-1. All Beckett has to do is not collapse and just pass it to Oki. Of course, in baseball, nothing is a sure thing. Except for our team not playing tonight. Poop

8 K's on 68 pitches through 5? 34/2 post-season K/BB ratio. Hanley is sick, but not that sick...

I can't believe that somehow the Yankees were brought into the play by play for no apparent reason an inning ago by McCarver.

He is obsessed.

Wow, this is carnage. I never would have thought it possible to feel bad for a team that made it to the WS by winning 21 out of 22. I'm not sure if I should be rooting for the Sox just to piss off the Yankees and fans, or the Rockies to shut up all the AL snobs...
