The Giants.

Wall to wall football for me starting this Sunday. Sure the Giants will be bad, but I expect them to be awful this year, so it's not going to bother me in the least when they lose. And if somehow they finish .500 I'll be elated. No heartbreak possible here.

I don't even want to look at at a baseball right now.

"Rooting"? no. I stop "rooting" for anyone when the Mets are eliminated.

Pulling for the Cubbies...yes. They don't have the pitching to pull it off, but it will be fun for their fans & baseball in general to have a WS in Wrigley.

Cubs / Red Sox or Cubs / Skanks would be an interesting series.

Jacobs is back in there this week, no?

I'd pull for the Cubs but I wouldn't be watching though.

If I heard that Derek Jeter died on the field during the playoffs, I would have a passing interest just before taking a big smelly dump.

If Jeter died, I would send a letter to the Yankees stating that I approve.

I was thinking about that... if they can pull that defense together they have a shot to be a nice little underdog team.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the first-place New York Mets.

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

Cubs vs Red Sox would be a VERY interesting WS. That means we will see Phillies vs Indians....

As I said last night, if & when the Mets are officially eliminated, I am done with Baseball until Spring Training.
