Default Watch them sell next year...

(No changes needed.....)

2008 METS: Potential slogans
a) STANDING PAT
b) WE HAD WHAT IT TOOK LAST YEAR
c) LAST STAND AT SHEA
d) YOU CAN PEE IN THE BLEACHERS AN UPPER DECK AFTER THE LAST GAME

C: LoDuca and Castro, one of the best catching tandems in the game, certainly another productive year left.

1B: Delgado, bound to bounce back

2B: Castillo, imagine how he'll help in a full season

SS: Reyes' 2007 was a great "maturing" experience

3B; Wright, the conitnuing rise of one of the game's greatest stars

LF: Alou can just flat out hit

CF: Beltran had a good year after all, no reason to believe he wont give us something between 2006-2007

RF: Milledge/Gomez Let em fight it out, the loser spells Alou...Both are guaranteed studs...
SP: Glavine: Still good for 12-14 wins
Pedro: Back for a full year. If we'd had him all of 2007, we would have clinched in mid september

Perez: A young pitcher on the uptick

Maine: Same as Perez.

Humber and Pelfrey: Showed flashes of what they'll be capable of. May the better man win. Perhaps the lesser of the two can become a reliable pen guy!

BP: Wags: just needs a winter of rest and to perfect that slider and work on his "new secret pitch" that we can't talk about eyt with St. Rick.

Smith: A young stud reliever coming up

Heilman: Solid every year. A known quantity. You know what you're getting, and it's pretty darn good.

Schoenweiss: Finally figured out that he's a fine lefty specialist

Feliciano: Just gotta watch how much we use him.

Sanchez: Addition of a key guy who if we'd had in 2007, we would have certainly won.

Mota: The off field distractions took him off his game

Sosa: Now that he knows his role, he'll be a valuable 6-7 inning guy. Can also spot start.

Bench: Chavez, Anderson, Gotay, and Easley from some of the best bench in the game. And there's no Julio Franco...

Manager: Learned form "character building" experience of the disappointment of 2007.

MOFO: Will be there for every game anyway.

I can see that you understand the Wilpon brain, Ambler. Well done.

That is EXACTLY what this sorry organization is going to try to sell.
