Default Waaaaaa....

I haven't gone anywhere, and if the Mets lose the division I won't go anywhere.

I'd just rather not feed into the "season is over" bullsh*t when there's three games left.

The season is over when another team finishes ahead of the Mets. I still have faith and always will...maybe the ship is all but sunk, but it's not completely under water yet, despite what the rest of this board would like to belive.

Maybe Omar should forget Latin America and scour Endor for some Ewok talent.

Rather be that way about a team I root for than someone who just sits and types "its over" "we're dead" "the team is toast" when the season is NOT OVER yet.

When I see the Mets or Phillies celebrating on the field, then it's over. Until then...I'll just continue to read the doom posts and pray to God they're wrong...because it's going to be very amusing around here if the Mets Do get in.

I'll see to that.

F*ck you.

For months, months, you looked down your nose at anyone that had the audacity to suggest that something was off with this team and that the Phillies and/or Braves were a threat.

It wasn't just that you disagreed, because there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. It was that you arrogantly dismissed it completely out of hand, and cited your superior "perspective," belittling literally everyone else here like the self absorbed jackass you are.

You never missed an opportunity to remind everyone who vented and let off steam how calm, cool, collected, and presumably intellectually superior you were because you didn't succumb to negativity "at the drop of a hat."

Well guess what? You were wrong. Whether or not this collapse makes sense or was extremely unlikely, whether or not certain people would complain even if the Mets won the WS in 5 games instead of 4, they were right and you were wrong. And you weren't just "expressing your opinion." You were being a pompous, condescending ass.

Now, instead of being contrite and apologizing for being such an insufferable assh*le for so long, you come back with "WAAAA!" as if you still maintain the high ground here and always have, and everyone else has the problem.

And it has nothing to do with what happens this weekend. You scoffed at the mere suggestion that the Mets were the least bit vulnerable, least of all to the Phillies. You ignorantly cited "the first six weeks," time after time after time, as an excuse to dismiss as an aberration one of the many crappy runs this team has had since. Guess what? They're 53-54 since "the first six weeks." Textbook definition of mediocre. But you had them pegged as an inpenetrable fortress all along, and anyone who doubted was a doom-and-glooming moron.

F*ck you.

NO...f*ck YOU.

Glad you need to blame someone who roots for the team and believes in them. And the only people I belittled were the one's who'd come out with there ignorant, "season over" posts back in June. Let me ask you something...you think the Phillies have TAKEN this division? IMO, a team that coughs up a 7-game lead in twoo weeks has GIVEN it away, not vice versa. Doesn't make it any better and it's all the same, but I don't really recall seeing your doom and gloom posts when the lead was seven games. But I bet you just KNEW they'd cough it up, right? I bet on Sep. 12, you were shaking in your boots about the Phillies.

Fool. How f*cking easy is it to come on here and and blast someone AFTER a collapse of rather historical proportions occurs?? Amazing I didn't see anything from you towards me during the rest of the season...but when the going gets tough...it's time to cry like a b*tch.

The Mets were up seven games TWO WEEKS ago. NO team...ZERO...has blown a lead of that length...but because the Mets have coughed it up, you finally can come and say something to me to make your sorry-ass self feel better because you're so frustrated.

Boo-f*cking-hoo...go find another scapegoat...like the team itself and not the people that root for them d*ckwad.

I've decided to not watch the last three games.

I will go online Monday morning and find out if the Mets made the playoffs or not.

NO - Fu(k YOU.

You took my favorite superhero and pansified him in order to make yourself feel better about being a "true fan".
