Yup. My Yankee fan friend has been teasing me the last few days...I swear he waited until the Yanks clinched before cranking up the trash talk.

A few weeks ago after one of the Philly sweeps I actually had a cop talk trash to me ( I was wearing my Mets sweatshirt).

heh, judging by the posts in this thread, my day hasnt been too bad. Almost immediately when I got in, someone tried to give me ****. I looked him in the eyes and said "Dont say a ****ing word" (exact quote, btw) and no one has given me **** since.

I went to this local pizza place before.
Of course, all the guys behind the counter had some Yankee clothing on..

Anyways, I was wearing my Mets hat and they gave me the "look"...like they were about to rag on me for being a Met's fan.

I said " Two slices,Large Coke and no fu*kin baseball comments".

That nipped it in the bud.

Good for you! Myself, I have a Yankee fan that's been riding me ever since last year's loss. Today, he tried to start and nudge me about the Mets choking and I looked dead in his eyes and told him back off. He toned down like 10 notches and said he's really rooting for the Mets to win. Yeah right. STAND UP MET FANS!!!! Don't take any s*** from the Skank fans. Obviously, they all forgot 2004, up 3-0. Now THAT'S a choke!!!!!!!

This is no lie. The first sound I heard as soon as I entered the hospital was a choking sound coming from a friend of mine directed towards me. By the end of the day it became almost comical. I couldn't walk down the hall without someone mentioning it. Now I am going out to dinner with the gf, only rule, no place that will have the Phils game on.
