Default Pedro Martinez.......

.......had the mother****ing BALLS to tell Willie Randolph to go suck his own **** on the bench while he would get Pujols to make the 3rd out in the 7th inning.... and the offense, which should have gotten chills and come out kicking ass pissed the rest of the game away.

NOW Pedro tells anyone that will listen that he and his surgically repaired arm, which probably came back into action a couple of months early, are ready to go again TODAY if necessary.

This loser team doesn't deserve a guy like Pedro.

Pedro ALWAYS has a big sack.

I remmber a particul game against ATL last year when the Mets lost the last few.

Mother****er went out and threw nine innings of great ball and went PITCH FOR PITCH against Smoltz.

MAJOR SACK, Pedro has.

He also said if there is a game Monday, after only three days rest, "I'll have my cleats on."

I wouldn't be shocked at all if he got the ball if there was a playoff game on Monday.

hey, give credit to Willie there, he could have had a reverse Grady moment and said no way, no way, you are coming out, Pedro manned up and Willie let him, say what you will about Willie (and no matter what anyone hear thinks I do not say him as in capable of being wrong) I am convinced that if he could step out on the field to play second base tonight he would, he is not taking this lightly the players need to buck up and execute...

I know they say a pitcher isn't really a leader but I think we missed him a lot this year. I have no doubt in my mind that if Pedro was here all year we win division by like 10 game and not just because he is a great pitcher but he is also someone that keeps everyone loose.

I dont think one person said that last nights loss was on Willie. Willie did everything right last night. Now over the last few weeks hell no but last night Willie pushed right buttons

I love Pedro in a non-gay, maybe semi-gay way as much as anyone, but I'm not buying that. He's been back since Labor Day and the team has been playing tighter than a flea's assh*le most of that time.

I still can't believe they couldn't score run one for the poor bastard after that performance.

F**ked up.

I thought he said he'll have his cleats on for the rest of the season. He said he'd be ready to throw in any upcoming game. I thought that's what I read, but I've kind of been in a stupor.

Not ONLY did he say that he'd go Monday, but he'd take the mound in relief in the meanwhile for 1-2 innings instead of throwing his side session.

Hell, if Randolph has any grey matter at all he'll take the guy up on the offer.

probably not 10 games but the way he has pitched even without a dominating fastball the last three years, he'd probably be something like 16-8 this year, for sight better than the monster that was Pelfrey/Park/Sosa/Humber/Lawrence

maybe, maybe he effectst the looseness, but if so you'd think his presence this september would have been more than it has, this team has played bad, had bad calls go against them, played sloppy, had bizarro fortune in a bad sense, strange timing (Anderson game changing hits routinely pissed away)

Give credit to El Duque, too.

Guy is a real gamer.

I wonder what both of these vets think of Reyes and his 'tude.
