Default I still have hope...

I don't know, the past few days have been miserable... last night was rock bottom for me, I was genuinely pissed, red in the face, how could they let this happen? But maybe I needed to talk myself down from the ledge, I woke up this morning and I didnt feel so bad about it all. We still have a shot.... maybe we will get wiped in the playoffs maybe not, but playoff baseball is like a drug, I just want that dose, even if it just a small one. But now we have a crazy weekend ahead, and thats why I love baseball so much. These are live and die games. It only takes a few breaks to possibly turn it all around, but I'll root for them hard this weekend. It seems the Met franchise is cursed, we've had some shocking dissapointments in franchise history, yet we've had some of the most incredible wins as well. Blue and Orange for life!

For some reason I just feel that when Monday comes around the Mets will be in playoffs. I don't know why because for the last month I have seen nothing to back that feeling up. What really bothers me is that it seems every bloop, every great fielding play, every two feet ground ball is going against the Mets. Maybe I just think that it all will turn around but it is getting late.

Kim is garbage so tonight we need to smack the Marlins around and I think everyone will get pumped again.

the one thing I can offer, maybe this team was playing not to lose as opposed to playing to win too often, maybe now with nothing left to do they can get their legs back under them and just play baseball, nine innings of executing pitches, plays and at-bats, no point in pressing or playing tense they already did what was feared, they did give up a 7 game lead, now they have to take it back, stranger things have happened.

I'm going tonight, maybe I should wear a rally cap the entire game.

tonight is a night I would be inclined to consider starting Marlon Anderson at either second base or in right field.

Is this the trapped animal adrenaline type thing?

That'll be tough since he's under suspension...

I wonder if they still keep the Bobby V Disguise Kit stored in the Met clubhouse?

He's unavailable. Tonight is the final game of his suspension.

Another plus for us I know teams say they want to play until the end but when you get to the last 3 games teams that are out of it already have their bags packed for winter. If the Mets can jump on Marlins early they will pack it in. Of course same thing can be said about the Nationals. I wouldn't be surprised if both Mets and Phils sweep this weekend and on Monday there is a game in Philly
