Default Anyone lstening to the FAN this morning?

They've got the immortal Johnny Franco on there telling everyone how the Mets are just not getting it done, and how traumatized the team is right now.

They are also on the streets of Queens interviewing people and recruiting for 2008 Mets.

Mr Blown Save talking about others not getting it done? Irony?

Yup. Along with Boomer, who's another NY sports loser.

They were talking about how when things are going really bad, the players don't want to come to the clubhouse and face the media, because that just makes things worse. Boo hoo....I'm really crying for all you millionaires.

In fairness, Boomer has been better than anyone WFAN put on in the AM since...ever, being that Imus sucks. I cant stomach listening or reading anything, sports related unless it is here.

Anyway, good job by Johnny Tomato Can, the epitomy of big game failure. A guy that never, ever secured the big save when we needed it.

Please get away from the radio, any affection or respect Mets fans can possibly have for you fades a little more with ever word you utter.

Actually, last night was great on Steve Somers...must have been 6-7 philly fans calling in to gloat. He had some good comebacks.

God, please let the Mets emerge from Rock bottom, sweep the marlins and then beat the phillies in the playoff game in their stadium.

He's happy not to be the only failure in recent Mets history

When he co-hosted with Carlin last week, Carlin said Franco was still close to the owners of the team. So I don't know what to think.

Franco is the ONLY MLB player that you can pinpoint as SINGLEHANDEDLY blowing the playoff chances of a team - 1998 down the stretch they needed ONE extra win in the last 20 games and he had a TON of losses and blown saves.

No doubt. Only problem is that this is a team meltdown, not just one player like Franco was.
