I'm not ashamed of being a Met fan. Hell I just wore my Delgado jersey with pride to school today and got ripped--im used to it growing up with all my friends being Yankee fans and having them win every year while the Mets hover in mediocricy and worse. I always vehemently defend the Mets.

That said I love the team, I'm just sick of this year's version. The pitching has shown no heart and they just bend over every game when it is important. If I have to watch another Reyes popup or swing one the first pitch when the guy before him just walked on 4 pitches, another ball get by Wright, another error in the OF, another meltdown by supposedly solid pitchers, I'm going to shank somebody.
