Not for the mets. Truth is, even Joe Smith is making a cool six digits a year. No, this is a devastating loss for us. The fans. The families who take their kids to the ballpark and it ends up costing them 200-300 dollars a game to watch these MOTHER ****ING **** RAGS embarrass themselves. It reminds me of that shitty movie with Jimmy Fallon where they saw the Red Sox eating and joking around after the game 3 loss against the yankees.

Your right. I mean I love baseball and the Mets...but when it comes down to it the lowest guy on the Mets roster makes more than I'll ever see in my life.

I should start watching more minor league bb. There's a team in Montclair that I should check out.

Everything with sports is on a scale. On the sports scale, this is devastating. On a life scale, this obviously means ****.

At least when you follow the Mets you do. The funny thing is I've dealt with all the blows like you guys have since I started following almost a decade ago and I know 90% of you guys have had twice the amount that I have, but it still hurts every time. Whether it's Kenny Rogers or Armando Benitez or John Franco or Jorge Sosa, they all are equally painful to stomach. New pitcher, same old ****.

Yet for some reason I keep coming back for more and it kills.

I was thinking this as well. We get dragged through this and have to go back to our jobs and work for a living. The Mets suck so bad they miss the PS, they just get some more time off.
