| OK, he's not the disaster that Gagne and Dotel have turned out to be for their new teams, but he's looking pathetic. I was definitely in favor of getting him, and if Milledge starts JC is the only RH bench guy with some pop. I don't see any way he'll be off the P-S roster if healthy, but maybe Gomez should be getting some ABs in the next week+ to see if he might need to be called on.

| He looks like a washed up ballplayer

| Since we gave up nothing for him it is hard to call it a mistake. It would be a mistake to give him a PS roster spot.

| Boy I sure hope Delgado is good to go tomorrow...that sounds so strange to say. I have my doubts that he'd hit well upon returning, although you have to wonder if his trips to the pitcher's mound in tight spots are missed by the relievers right about now.

you mean Conine. On the replay it looked like a taller 1st baseman with a good stretch might have been able to make that play.

| Conine hasn't been any good, but it was the right move to acquire him, albeit two months later than he should have been brought in. I still like Conine better than Franco if for no other reason than that Conine can be used in the outfield corners when needed.
