Default Other teams who should be better than they currently are:

Here are some other fans who should feel worse than we do right now:

1.) Braves - After their hot start, they really pissed their season away. To make matters worse, they sold the farm for Texeira and they didn't improve at all.

2.) Tigers - These guys should feel even worse than we do. They basically have the same team that the Mets do... only MUCH better pitching, and they could not beat the Indians for their lives this season, and are on the outside looking in.

3.) Twins - Last year's Cy Young and MVP took them nowhere. Gotta suck knowing theres no help on the horizon

4.) Cardinals - World Series Champs defended their title with a wimper

5.) Dodgers - Disappointments all over this team. I guess Penny is the lone star there. How sad

There you go... now I don't feel so bad.

The Phillies. We are lucky they sucked for the first few weeks of the season or we would be out of the playoffs. But otherwise I agree with your list.

Dude, can you not talk about the Phillies for just one thread? Jeezus christ... In 05, you didn't hear me talking about Delgado and the Marlins every damn second.

Just saying. And yeah those Marlins fans can be real bastards...just like the Philly fans

Another team I would add to your list though not as bad are the Blue Jays. Didn't they come in second in the AL East last year? I know in that division it is tough but I thought they might build on it a bit this year and challenge for the WC, never really happened.

All things considered, the Cards actually had a pretty good year.

The Texiera trade was as much about the next 5 years (they hope) as it was about this season. Still a good trade for them.
