Default Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.

My goodness, anybody else hear that spin job by Willie on the M&tMD show today (sorry, would've posted earlier but I was in all that traffic in North Jersey since 4:00)?

I heard it.

I'm with ya 100%. I was hoping the manager of the team was going to say how scared he is and that he can see the fear of death in his player's eyes. I'm a bit surprised though that he didn't say Maine sucked last night and that he'd never have faith in him again though. That this team is nothing like the Yankees clubs he played with or coached for.

Then there's the part of how he told his club that it's time to start worrying and to go out there thinking about how they've blown a big lead.

Lastly, I was upset he didn't congratulate the Phillies on claiming the 2007 NL East title.

Willie's not going to be issuing any "40-15" proclamations like the last good manager the Mets had before him...

lol, who cares if he yells behind clubhouse doors. He should deck an umpire and then go into the clubhouse and come back with fake glasses and no mustache to fool everyone.
