| Is fired..... who replaces him? (I know, it could never happen and I should be concentrating on THIS year... but right now, it hurts to do so....) |

| Julio Franco. Just kidding. I meant John Franco. But seriously, I don't know the whole list that's available. But what I would look for in a new manager is someone who is smart tactically in games and who preferably has a fair amount of major league experience. Enough of these "good clubhouse," "father figures" like Howe and Randolph.

| Either Joe Girardi or Mike Hargrove. Hargrove was pushed out of Seattle because Ichiro hated him. I'm sure he'd be willing to come back to the right team, and hopefully the Mets are the right team. |

| You may be right -- admittedly, I don't know all that much about him aside from the winning in Cleveland. He did help turn around the M's ship, though, right? That has to count for something. After all, while anyone could've won with those Indians teams, I'm not sure there's a manager out there who could've won with those early 2000's Baltimore teams and the Mariners of the past few years. |

| I wonder if Tom Kelly would be interested in returning to managing. He had a very good reputation managing some terrible Twins rosters.
