The list is damn long.

I guess that means it's Omar Minaya.

Delgado by a nose. But you CAN NOT have a goat du season thread without mentioning the ENTIRE bullpen with the exception of Wagner and Feliciano who have been decent.

Mota is beyong goat. He is the turd du season.

Honorable mention to Omar for doing virtually nothing to upgrade the team during the off-season and screwing with the chemistry of the bullpen by letting a couple of key guys from last year get away and replacing them with Show and **** while re-signing Mota the cheater. Omar did a little too much reading of his own press clippings and got so cocky as to think he could throw **** at the wall again in the bullpen and come up smelling like a rose. Many fans on this board were guilty of thinking that as well.

Also honorable mention to Reyes and Steamboat for acting and performing like they are functioning without so much as a particle of brain.

Delgado is the goat? Last time he played Mets were like 6 games up so I dont think he caused our season to go down hill. It is Reyes hands down but the manager is catching up quickly

Delgado and Omar.

Omar waited way too long to strengthen the bench and Omar couldn't find one pitcher anywhere, however meager, to prop up the bullpen or to act as a tolerable fifth starter, and that's really killing them down the stretch. I never wanted Omar to give up the farm for Gagne or Dotel (and thankfully he didn't), but any serviceable reliever could have had a prayer at least of coming in handy.

If Carlosama is anything near career norm, we should be clinching right about now.

You can't blame Willie for not playing him. Fasting during Ramadan leaves him too weak to play.

If I hear that idiot randolph say "just have to keep playing" again, I'm going to vomit. The man says nothing of substance and again, looks like he accepts losing.

I have been killing Willie all night but if I am to be honest he did look pissed and definitely didn't say what he truely felt during that interview

Nobody even brings up Heilman and his half dozen dagger HR's, or 7.94 ERA against the Phillies this year. Maybe he's the one paying someone off to keep Mota on the team? He sure does make him look better, even if his outs are usually nowhere near as important...

Has to be the entire bullpen other than Wagner, and Omar for not seeing the house was on fire.

While not at the top of the heap, Willie's right up there too.

Ya think so? I just heard more of his press conference on FAN. He said "this is perfectly normal. This is good experience for them. I have been there before. Going through this will make it even more sweet when we are sipping champaign."

The man is delusional.
