Default Beltran Is Back

He's in the line-up tonight according to SCNY...all doctors and hospitals are on standby. Vegas has him at a 60-40% of pulling a muscle on his first swing and being out another month.

Is it wrong that when I read that title i thought this was another joke and it was someon like Beltran Perez being recalled by the Nats?

Nah he'll just go 1 for his next 25, and tell the reporters that it's because he's a 68% Btw nice to see Lo Duca hitting 8th where he belongs.

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

He won't. Eddie asked Willie about it on the pre-game, and Willie said he plans to give him a lot of ABs at all 3 OF positions from here on out.

But he cautioned that when Endy returns, it'll be tough to get a lot of ABs for both of them.

I'd figure he'll be in there vs Olsen tomorrow night over Green, and Steamboat might have Milledge in left Sunday over Alou.

What is it they say about missing persons? The first 24 hours is essential? We'd better start putting the posters up now and getting ready with the search parties or we may never see him again.

Milledge should get the at bats, and Steamboat should just use Endy as a defensive replacement late in the game, and in some pinch hitting spots.

What do you mean "when" Endy returns?

but it shouldnt be all 3 he should play everyday in RF and Beltran everyday in CF. Green has been awful. 30 freakin RBI from your rightfielder is a joke.

It's really something where in a Beltran is back titled thread that there's more concern about Milledge getting time than getting your so-called best player back.

8-24, 3 RBI. You don't bury a vet unless he's really slumping. I love the way Milledge's playing (Is his value still getting lower?), and IMO he'll be the full-time RFer next year, but for now he'll probably play there vs LHPs and give Alou and Beltran days off on days Green plays.

whoopty freakin do. Why dont you look at his entire season. Last years too while youre at it. Slumping? How about he's finished. Can we bury a vet when he's finished?

He's not having a great season, but .275 or so for the season, and not slumping recently, mean he gets some playing time.
