I saw that he got called up and felt good for him. After hearing about the homerun and curtain call, I feel great for him. Hopefully he has a nice career ahead of him in the outfield... His power numbers were very good in AAA.

How old is he now? Gotta be in his mid-30's, no?

Wow, he WAS young. I thought he'd been around for a few years already when he pitched in the 2000 post-season. He was just a baby.

A great story. I heard the kid grew up with a lot of dysfunction so It's cool to see him make it after that and what he went through as a player.

If this guy turned into just a slightly better than average power hitter for a couple years, it would be one of the great sports comebacks of all time.

It would have taken you less time to go to espn.com or any other site and look up his age, than to seem like a helpless Internet fool/lazy ass person and post a question here.

You're on the Internet. You do know how to use it, right?

You could have simply Googled "Rick Ankiel."

But no! You had to go out of your way to show that you have no clue on how to use the Internet or that you're the ultimate lazy assed fool.

Yeah that's more Frank's style (pun intended). Edgy is too chickensh*t to confront anyone, even on here.
