Default Should we shut down Pedro for next year?

After this series it is clear the Mets are not a championship caliber club. So do you think it would be better to just shut him down and make sure we are ready for next year?

If we give him more time, he might just talk a few others onto that ledge.

I wonder if Dr Nick will tell all his patients "You're gonna die, man. No hope."

That joke was funny about 2 years ago. Try and think of something new.

I thought the subject line was a joke.

I was serious.

I'll agree Pedro looked dreadful. Those are Low A ball hitters. They're high-school kids. He's a long way. 3 weeks I would guess from being ready.

Do believe the words he was looking for were "Die slowly and painfully." Whatever you do, don't offer him an olive branch.

Like most of us have said - the Mets can't realistically rely on Pedro this year.

Who are you agreeing with? I don't see any "he looked dreadful" posts here.

No I won't only because I will be in the intensive care unit that month so gonna be working a lot and unfortunately missing a lot of games potentially, if they make it.
