I just got home from 12 hours at work and all I've seen so far is a few people talking about this. What's the deal? Can anyone give me the info on what's been going on today so I can look into it myself?

I had five threads deleted (each one I posted in response to the other being deleted so it wasn't like I posted five whiny threads at once). None of those threads were anything worse than what is posted here on a daily basis. Then, I had several of my posts edited throughout the night. I personally don't care too much but one of the things I love around this place is that it pretty much polices itself. The first thread I posted should have never been deleted. It would have been mocked rightfully and soon enough would have fallen off the front page.
