The Braves have too many non-athletes. Omar wouldn't even look twice at most of them.

Maybe that should read, the Braves have to many non-hispanics on their team. Omar wouldn't even look twice at most of them.

Please, I'd take Green and Alou any day over young guys with talent, speed and impact ability.

You ****ing fans do nothing but cry and *****. Waaah waaah wwaaaaah

What's next, you don't want the Mets to keep taking it in the ass to competitive Braves teams year in and year out? You want your team to hit guys like Buddy Carlyle? Aren't you ****ing fancy from Delancey.

When I was a kid, we didn't even have baseball. Just a guy from medford who'd kick a can towards me. And if I didn't thank him, he'd let me know about it!

GET THE PIECE OF CRAP McGimpy OFF MY TEAM NOW!!!!!

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

One of the most tired strategies is following what OTHER teams do. You see it almost every year in the NFL. Whatever "type" of team won the Super Bowl last year gets emulated by half the league the following year.

And it barely EVER works.

Im not trilled with their production, but AT THE TIME THE MOVE WAS MADE, both Green and Alou were very rational pickups with sound strategies behind them.

Just for the record, I thought Green was a bad idea at the time.

I would agree as far as Green is concerned. However, Alou's issue has never been what he has done while on the field, it's keeping himself on the field. The guy is batting over .300 so what's the problem with him hitting in the ninth?

As for Delgado, the guy has put up some respectable numbers since getting off to a bad start. But then again, you were just waiting for him to have a bad stretch.

The work on the team is NOT completed. We need pitching, the pitching we have will NOT get us where we want to go. We all knew coming in the pitching wasn't good enough and we were right.

He has been trying to address it, but it's a double-edged sword:

It's not Omar's fault that other teams won't give up their golden prospect pitchers for our crappola.

It is Omar's fault that we're saddled with Sele, Schoenschmuck, Mota, etc.

In some ways the Mets have been lucky that they have been able to get what they have out of guys like Maine and Perez.
