I was absolutely pissed until I read this thread. LOL

Did you just copy and paste your post from the Philly series back in May?

Willie wised up: El Duque will be pitching tonight and Maine will be pitching in the matinee on Thursday.

It sort of takes the wind out of your sails when the only pitcher that's beaten the Braves gets pummeled in the first game.

I'm kind of pissed that the Mets didn't realize after about 2 batters that the BRaves actually watched the tape from the 3 losses, and KNOW what Perez was trying to do. WHy does it seem like the Mets are the only team that can never make mid-game adjustments

Good point. Is Steamboat asleep at the rudder?

Duque? Glavine? Maine, even? They don't make adjustments?

I think it's a Perez problem, rather than a team problem...

(And I'm a big Perez fan)

I would hope fans are pissed off that Buddy ****ing Carlyle kicked our ass and 4 innings of NO HIT pitching by their relievers followed. That's pretty ****ing pathetic.

IF the Mets aren't pissed, and the fans aren't, it's clear who wants this more.

Hey Perez wasn't going to go undefeated against the Braves. I still think we have a good shot at winning next two games but if you listen to people around here why bother playing the games?

Sure they could've done more but let's not pretend that 3 ER in 5 innings is anything out of the norm for Carlyle.
