I heard LA Woman on the radio today. Are they trying to do a throwback to that?

Don't tell me... the hook is gonna be "F*ck them b*tches up the *ss with a dirty pole". Lyrical contributions from LMillz.

A new Mets song. This should fit in well with the Pepsi Party Patrol, the loud booming music, the wave, Sweet Caroline and "Everybody clap your hands!".

Oh God as if the rap song that was supposed to replace Meet the Mets last year wasn't bad enough.

Why do the Mets have to do this stupid crap? Stick with the original Meet the Mets. Sure it's cheesy, but it's cheesy in a good way (if that makes any sense).

It's like the Mets braintrust sits around and goes "How can we embarass our fan base today?"

What hideous new uniform combination will they wear tonight to accompany the song?

What they effing NEED to do is have Meet the Mets, but sung by a bunch of different cool bands. I think it'd be awesome to hear a Deftones version of Meet the Mets, or, Modest Mouse, or Amy Winehouse or something. ANYTHING but these "fresh new" out-of-touch pieces of garbage they keep trotting out there to embarrass the fan base.

When did that sickening "Everybody clap your hands" start up at Shea? It sure sounds like Hammer doing the talking there. And it's about as welcome amongst the fans as Hammer is at his old mansion.

Dude, I'm still feeling the douche-chill shockwaves from "Who let the Dogs Out" all the way over here on the left coast.

Our Team, Our Time...

Actually this has been a theme the last decade whenever the Mets have made a playoff run.

LA Woman
Who Let the Dogs Out

then last year they eventually settled on Lucas Prata's And She Said (Lets Go Mets)

All Z100 hits which btw plays the gayest music in the world yet they get monster ratings which proves how many people have horrible taste.
