| All right , he can play leftfield until Delgado either gets traded this offseason or leaves after 08, He may not be good in left but the guy is a beast, I don't even think we've seen the best of him yet, this guy can put up huge numbers. If the rumors are even close, Milledge and Pelfrey wouldn't entice Texas more than Saltamaccia? This is a great opportunity to really stack the offense here and get a long term franchise player type guy back who we would resign. What would it have to be to get it done? |

The Mets can't top that based on Salty alone, but I don't think I'd want them to even try. Brave fans are already in "Salty is overrated and will be a bust," mode though. It's really quite funny... |
