It's time to switch Milledge and Duke Willie, since he's never going to see the glory hole (#2 spot) again...

F*ck Alou. Right shoulder tendinitis. Day to day. F*ck that. Watch "day to day" turn into September 27.

Moises "El Pavano Domincano" Alou.

Omar, don't put your eggs in that broken down basket... go get an OF.

The Mets CANNOT rely on this guy.

I'd have Milledge batting second, in fact. Lo Duca, as you said, should be batting 8th at this point. Is having two lefties in a row (Jihadist and Green) such a travesty?

Reyes
Milledge
Beltran
Wright
Delcrapo
Green
Gotay
Lo Duca
Maine

That should be it right there.

Only when neither of them can hit. As in this case.

When I read in the paper on Sunday (or maybe Sat) that he was icing his shoulder I knew it was bad news. This guy can't be counted on. He breaks down if there is a stiff breeze. I have been saying since he got hurt that if we are counting on him the rest of the year it would be a mistake. There is no way this gut can be counted on at all.

LOL I saw it too, but chose to ignore it...hoping it would go away or hoping that I really was seeing things.

For his next trick, he will tear his ass-cheek muscles after farting. Ridiculous.

Alou just had to blink, which has set him back another week.

And seriously, even IF he returns on Friday.... It's like egg shells. We'd all have that sinking feeling that he will just go out and get hurt again.

Omar can't plan around this guy, not even one bit.

When he originally got hurt I said he would be out for three months, half kidding....but he is closer to three months than originally thought.
