Forget the Phollies, they don't count.

It's all about Atlanta. And I was watching them on espn and I realized...they are trotting out a dude named Jo Jo Reyes. Get the **** out of here.

Followe by Chuck James and Buddy Carlisle. Holy ****. I mean, these ARE the guys that would have handed the Yankees run 24-32 if given the chance. They are the turd that a magic wand touched, by accident, and they are diong well now.

But you can't have dudes with those names and expect to go anywhere. Think aobut it. JP Howell? (Drays) - Loser name.

Johan Santana? Hell yeah

Buddy Carlisle? Who else do they have? Harry Ballz and Cletus Pigshtuper?

It's in the bag. Kick back your feet, light a fat one and relax.

Yeah, I'd like to believe that having a stupid name renders a player inert when it comes to thwarting our post-season hopes. But remember, a grown man who calls himself "Chipper" with a straight face and a guy who for reasons known but to God spells his name "Andruw" have broken our hearts more than once.

It looks like Atlanta getting ready to choke tonight's game away, but until they are a dot in our rear view mirror (and don't hit quite so well with 2 out and RISP), I'm not easy about ATlanta.

If they were, they would have leapfrogged over us when we lost 7 of 9 series.

Pelfrey would be better served by changing his name to Wes Mantooth.

And Milledge? Well his last name is fine...but maybe he should try being Lando Milledge instead. That way, he has the cool-factor of Lando, and maintains L-Millz as a nickname.

I remember saying how ridiculous-sounding the name of a guy in the Mets organization sounded in the early 1980's. His name was quite FRUITY....
