| He had surgery in April to insert a screw in his shoulder to correct a hairline fracture. The expected healing time was 6-8 weeks before he could start rehab. Has there been an update? |

| I know he came into camp overweight, and had a questionable work ethic for a guy who was rehabbing an injury. Still...whats his status right now? If his surgery only took 6-8 weeks before he could pitch again why haven't we heard anything? |

| It is. But if he had learned from Glavine's accident a year earlier and used his seat belt he'd be OK. The shoulder was damaged when he braced himself against the parttition with his (pitching) hand.

| Senior Member | I agree completely with you. Last year when the accident happened, I felt really bad for Duaner, but there's no excuse for coming to spring training out of shape and showing up late and everything when you're trying to come back from a major injury. |
