It's my parents anniversary. Dad is a Mets fan, they better win if my mom is sitting through a game tonight.

With this matchup, and Rolen, Eckstein, Wilson and Edmonds on the shelf? They'd BETTER g-damn win.

Yep, especially with how the Mets have been playing over the last few games, and how the Cardinals have been playing all season. I can't help but shake the feeling, though . . .

Yes... reminds me of that game (against the Rockies, maybe) where the Mets had Franco at third, Easley in right, Newhan somewhere.... and beat the tar out of the opponent.

I can certainly happen, but shouldn't.

I just saw Heilman's wife on Fox 5 News. Doesn't look like he has anything to be about. Unless she nags him a lot, like, "Why aren't you a starting pitcher yet????"

Heilman needs to go. Sulking *****. Too bad Mota is a flake. :/

WOW, look at their lineup after Encarnacion. It's a disaster. That likely means we lose 11-3.

hey MOFO,

hope you're all well. back from the honeymoon and hoping to see a mets win (I haven't actually seen the mets win since the delgado walkoff in may... every game since then that I've actually watched has been a loss).

I kept tabs on the mets with two day-old boxscores in the international herald tribune and 2 euro USA todays (!). but what's been their story since friday? who's been hitting?... I imagine it was interesting on here from wednesday night to friday night...
