Default Milton Bradley designated for assignment..

Wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Omar go after him.

No. Another head case....and its comments like this "I'm healthy and on the bench" which make it clear he's not going somewhere to be a 4th OFer/Spot starter

Everett's available, too. Less than 50 miles from Shea.

Anyone want him?

Make it a package deal he could bring Jose Awfulman with him too.

Bradley is in a contract year. If he is looking to get paid next year coming to Shea and kicking some ass might help.

The guy is a head case but he could be a better option than Ben Johnson or Gomez in right field and could free up Shawn Green to play 1st base.

...Aaaaaand another team has gotten sick of Milton Bradley. The only instance I remember of Gary Cohen being moved to use the word "crap" on the air was in reference to Milton Bradley's antics.

Bradley and Reyes would turn HR celebrations into ticker tape parades...

So in essence you want to make Delgado the highest-paid bench player in MLB. To make room for Milton Bradley??????????????

Theoretically, he WOULD start on the Mets, right now.

That said... pass.

No, but it certainly would give Delgado a real live back-up 1B, unlike Sir Frown A Lot by the School Yard...

In the event that Bradley could be had for 30 cents on the dollar, and in the event that Alou is expected to be out for another few weeks, he might be a worthwhile pickup. Bradley could always be dumped again in a few weeks if he's causing a problem. There's little risk if Bradley can be had at a wholesale price.
