Mets lose 2/3 each series, the June swoon towards one of the most legendary crashes in modern baseball history continues.

10-0

Omar clones Chuck Norris and has him play at every position. The Mets will outscore their opponents 200-0.

This of course is the start of a streak that has the Mets winning every single game for the rest of the season, and sweeping every postseason series. Following the Mets World Series victory, there are much discussions about whether it should be illegal for steroids to use Chuck Norris.

My prediction for the homestand is that Bill will continue to insist on being called Rey.

2-8.

Perez with one win, Sosa with the other.

Here's the probable pitching matchups:

Monday - Silva vs Maine
Tuesday - Santana vs Sosa
Wednesday - Baker vs Perez

Friday - DiNardo vs Tampax
Saturday - Kennedy vs Duque
Sunday - Blanton vs Maine

Monday - Thompson vs Sosa
Tuesday - Wells vs Perez
Wednesday - Wellemeyer vs Tampax
Thursday - Reyes vs Duque

If those matchups hold I see us getting 2-1-3 in the series and going 6-4.

Five and five, but only because we'll fatten up on the pitching deprived Cardinals in the final series.

How many hits are you going to get against the Cardinals?

Well since the first two series are "breathers" I am going to go with 9-1. Maybe even 11-0. That is how good the Mets are, MLB will just award them an extra win for a game not played.

8-2, but the hitting will still be nowhere to be found, other than Reyes, Wright and some LoDuca. Delgado will hit two big homeruns, but that will be the sum total of all his hits. Beltran's mole will get Giagantism and he will be hospitalized.

Nick...keep posting your sarcasm, please...it makes you look all the more moronic than we all thought you were anyway.

It's really funny how a sh*tty stretch of play somehow makes you feel like you've proven everyone wrong because, after 350,124,094 times of saying "here comes a Mets slump" after they lose two straight games, you were finally right.
