| http://www.delawareonline.com/apps/p...87/1021&theme= The Phillies announced after Monday night's game that an MRI exam found Garcia has some fraying in the rotator cuff and possible problems with the labrum. Garcia was examined Monday by Phillies team physician Dr. Michael Ciccotti and will seek a second opinion. At that point, the Phillies and Garcia will discuss the best course of action, which could mean season-ending surgery. The team had no further comment. |

| from rotoworld... An MRI on Freddy Garcia's shoulder Monday revealed "some pathology" of the labrum and "fraying" of the rotator cuff. "Hopefully, he won't have to go to surgery, but, from what I hear, he might have to go," White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said. "That's a shame, because [the Phillies] are missing a pretty good pitcher." Garcia will seek a second opinion and may undergo season ending surgery to repair the shoulder.
