Mets' bats break out against Bonderman. You read it here first.

Now you'll either look like a genius or a jackass depending on the outcome. Bold move

Someone, NOT named ilpadrino, has got to show some cajones on this board and make a bold prediction...

SS Jose Reyes
2B Jose Valentin
CF Carlos Beltran
1B Carlos Delgado
3B David Wright
DH Paul Lo Duca
LF Ricky Ledee
C Ramon Castro
RF Carlos Gomez

According to Metsblog. I like Valentin in the two hole better than the other options Willie has used lately. However, why isn't Ledee batting last? Is it better to have Gomez last to have "two leadoff hitters"? And even then...why is Ledee ahead of Castro though?

Mets

Reyes SS
Valentin 2B
Beltran CF
Delgado 1B
Wright 3B
Lo Duca DH
Ledee LF
Castro C
Gomez RF

Will it KILL willieball to put Duke in the #2? Actually Valentin I mind the least of the Johnson/Cargo/Chavez bunch. With Ledon't down at the bottom of the order, we have all the OMPH we need to afford LoDuca a move back home.

Hey VooDoo beat me to it!

Ugh. I'd rather Johnson play and hit in the 8th spot.

Nothing makes me more ill than seeing Ricky Ledee in our lineup.

Not only do I not like Fox's coverage of baseball, no matter who the Mets are playing, I always feel like Fox is one big jinx for the Mets. I hope I'm wrong.

They're too important to cover Mets vs. Tigers. How much do you bet they're covering the SF/As game?

Though I thank the baseball gods that they're not covering the Mets game.

Ditto. I have to admit I let out a sigh of relief when I realized we were sparred 3 hours of Brokeback Broadcast Booth.
