Default Will This Board Cover The Draft?

Or is that in the Minor League forum?

Thank you.

The Mets with their 2nd pick take Julio McEwing. McEwing is the grandfather of former Met Joe McEwing and had redshirted a record 44 years at Nassau Community college before playing his senior year this past season. McEwing wants to be the first 80 year old player in the majors and GM Omar Minaya says the Mets will look to fasttrack McEwing possibly adding him to the playoff roster as a pinch hitter. McEwing went 0-10 as a PH for NCC this past season but if he got 3 hits he would have batted .300. Omar thinks McEwing could also help in the infield where he won a grammar school gold glove playing alongside Ronald Reagan at Silas Willard School in 1911.

Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

This just in. The Yankees draft Roger Clemens' 22 year old clone, cure Lou Gehrig's disease, and bring back the Iron Horse to play 1st base.

I was planning on starting a thread in the minors forum. Last year everyone said it was pointless and we ended up getting a couple hundred posts. There won't be as many picks today because of ESPN, but at least we'll have three before we picked at all last year...

And that Joe Smith guy has turned out to be pretty valuable...
