Just remember global warming is average temperature. There will always be flukes. Also I don't hear anything about the polar ice cap GROWING ever.

Yes, the Antarctic ice sheet is growing in height in the central region, but making just that one point is very misleading and quite dishonest.

There is an enormous amount of research that has been conducted on the poles and there is much more to the story than just the increase in snow in the middle of the continent. Indeed the coast is where the real action is.

The leading U.S. climate scientist Dr. James Hansen responded via email saying "The most precise data on the mass of the ice sheets, from the gravity satellite, show that, overall, Antarctica is losing mass, as is Greenland, even though East Antarctica is gaining a small amount of mass

The fact that ice in these places is thickening is never mentioned by the scare-mongers. They don't tell the whole story.

I didn't say there was another Ice Age coming. But then, I also didn't say we're all going to be flooded away in five years.

No one ever says how they compute these so-called "average" temperatures. Anyone here even want to hazard a guess on how something so unbelievably daunting could be accurately accomplished?

The suspect nature of these average temperatures is a very legitiamate point at which to attack the claims of Global Warming.

Some of the figures used in the chicken little 'studies' that we hear about are taken from the same recording stations that are downwind from jet exhaust, air conditioning ventilation, on tar-coated rooftops, etc.

It's a f**king farce.
