| That's right. Obama. Not Osama. His Church magazine said Louis Farrakhan "truly epitomized greatness". But Obama, who stands by his church pastor, wants to distance himself from being anti-semitic. There's an incongruity there. Obama: "I decry racism and anti-Semitism in every form and strongly condemn the anti-Semitic statements made by Minister Farrakhan. I assume that Trumpet Magazine made its own decision to honor Farrakhan based on his efforts to rehabilitate ex-offenders, but it is not a decision with which I agree." What does he mean "I assume"? Why put the explanation/justification in the middle of your condemnation. Like I said, there's an incongruity here. |

Look at it this way. According to some, George W. Bush was qualified, but there are lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of people who would now argue (some who've been arguing for years) that his "qualifications" shouldn't have mattered because he was not cut out for the job. Hell, even Georgie's daddy had enough belief in Dan Quayle's "qualifications" to have selected him as his vice-president for chrissakes. Thank God he didn't up and die while in office because then we would have found out what it was like to have been lead by a numbskull. Oh wait...
