Wow. I'm not a Huckabee fan at all either, but if it's down to him and Hilary I'm holding my nose and voting Huckabee...and then I'm going home and getting completely sh!tfaced.

You seem a little down. I think you need a visit from the Pepsi Party Patrol to cheer you up.

LOL. I know man I can't believe it either! But this Huckabee, between that floating cross 'You're-all-moron/lunatics-for-seeing-exactly-what-I-wanted- you-to-see', and that press conference he called on New Year's Eve to declare he'd seen the light and will no longer do negative campaigning, and screening an attack ad that 10 seconds earlier he said he'd decided not to run* (just to "prove to the reporters" that he'd "really made the ad") he's beginning to inspire Clintonian levels of distaste in me.

Plus his nanny-state high-taxes big governmentism and incredible foreign policy naivete doesn't make his positions on the issues all THAT nociably different from Clinton's. At that point who would I rather have opposing these clowns? In Huckabee's case a Democratic Congress with a withered, beaten and obliterated Republican party (the dems'll LOVE him) or in Hillary's a dramatically revitalized and resurgent Republican Congress (after the brutal 1st 2 years)

Again, I'm not saying I absolutely would, I'm saying I can see it happening.

*(Seriously if you haven't seen it, you guys need to check it out. It's hilarious. Oh and by the way? After all that he wound up running the f*cking ad on TV anyway)

Well that's just f*cking ridiculous. I have no great affection for the guy, but I actually gave him the benefit of the doubt with the whole cross thing, well, maybe a half assed benefit, but this farce is a complete joke. If he were telling the truth he would have been better served just cancelling the damned press conference altogether and not saying anything. He really made himself look like a dick.

Well, Chuck Norris supports Huckabee so I guess that does it for me. I mean, I always vote for a Presidential Candidate based on whether or not their top celebrity supporter can kick my ass.

I guess Romney didn't do so well being a Mormon. Amazing how the letter "M" in the middle of that word matters so much. Take it out and you can win easy like Bush did.

Edwards has no chance to win the dem election.

Hil has no chance in a GE.

Obama is the dems' best bet, even if he loses.

Fixed. Plus Huckabee's almost as liberal as Obama.

Thankfully. What started off as a hilarious pander from a guy in a 28,000 sqft house kept escalating and escalating and has apparently become a true "rebirth" as a socialist.

I'm no Hillary fan, but she's actually winning or tied in most head-to-head polling at the moment. Shouldn't matter much now as the nomination is Obama's for the taking, but I suppose it doesn't hurt letting the GOP take victory for granted against her, just in case.

.
And we saw how the polling panned out in Iowa. She's in big @$$ trouble right now. If you're a repub out there, you should be rooting hard for her in the primaries, as is Kellyann Fitzpatrick Conway, for the obvious reason.

Ron Paul actually did great there. Iowa was not a place where he was expected to do well.

Keep in mind that this bizarre process leaves out about 45% of precincts in their "results".

Reading up on it, you find Paul really was only about 250 votes out of third. This site updates as the votes are actually counted.

Wolf Blitzer has said that Paul's strong showing, and the fact that he has won over more Independants than any other candidate, should make him a serious contender in NH.
