from a sheer political standpoint, I'm sure every DEM in the country salivated at the thought of Palin running in 2012....it would just about secure a landslide victory for Obama.

I would agree that her running for President is a hopeless venture i don't see how that makes her "dumb".

I have no use for her (politically) because of the incredible uphill struggle she would have to overcome just to make it to the ticket.

That, however does not mean that she is not a good woman who has been made to be some kind of villian by the likes of your kind.

I'll never understand why liberals are so in love with so-called intellectuals, especially when it comes to elected office. The last person I would want representing me was an intellectual, (especially one of great financial means) because they are so far removed from the struggles of the "mediocre masses" it is impossible for them identify with "real" people.

The only thing worse than electing an intellectual is electing someone who only thinks they're an intellectual. Which is what we have now.
