My next two weeks are looking very sketchy even though I'll be around.

It was based partly on something Obama said in his speech. I hope it doesn't infringe on Fonzy's bank bailout thing, but maybe we can throw it up later today. Someone let me know. I haven't read Mule's latest yet.

edit: oh, yeah... another suggested change I had for the blog is that we start putting our own handle in the "labels" section of each of our posts. That was so if some reader has an author they want to check out more stuff from, they just click on that label. There was no other way to get a group of someone's posts. You guys can try it with your own names (I took a couple of liberties) and see what you think. If it's a no-go, we can remove them.

It's not a slur against his race...if anything, a person should argue that I'm advocating beating a retard.

His logic is so beyond the pale it's completely unbelievable to me. "We're going to take away your Constitutional rights so we can save Mexicans." Who thinks like this?

I didn't even take the whole comment to its real, logical conclusion: international gun control. What Holder is saying is that Mexico's gun laws (with are restrictive in the extreme, btw...Mexico has some of the hardest gun control on the entire planet) won't work because our gun laws are undermining them. The logical (if you call any of this logic) conclusion is we need to look at the "gun problem" globally. The next step after that is we turn over our firearms laws to the United Nations. The next step after that is I die in a pile of spent brass on top of the Bunker when the ****ers come to get me.
