I think they don't like increases in fees caused by p[oor/risky inverstments. Three years ago when eldes daughter was accepted at NYU total cost was gonna be right at 50k per year. She's fortunate that she didn't have to worry about but, if a kid right out of high school is expected to take on a burden of a quarter of a million bucks then perhaps he or she should have some say in how that money is "invested"

You might not like it, but it's certainly a legitimate issue. Hell even your beloved NYTimes recently 86-ed the one guy on their page who could even superficially refer to himself as a 'conservative'. KO even said that if you wanted to pass yourself off as a liberal David Brooks (redundant, I know) taking and relishing each opportunity to post a "we [libs] have lost our way" that's one thing. But on this blog is it really required that after a post praising the rising star of the GOP we have a post trashing him? I mean sure, we can. I just don't think this format is conducive to that sort of thing.

I don't recall him saying anything positive or offering any suggestions as to any way he would accept my presence. There is an issue there that does not seem will ever be resolved. It is interesting, however, that you mention, the lost way angle....... as I'm not as liberral as you and others seem to think. (I own a hand gun, pro death penalty, kick the illegals out, etc) And we liberals HAVE lost our way...........hell, I could write 100's of columns on that......i guess it remains to to be seen if that will happen

Neil posted exactly what I said, and exactly what I meant.

And I actually think that the perspective of a liberal talking about the ways in which his party is "f*cking" him (and everyone else) has the potential to be a draw in a way that us conservatards probably couldn't quite muster on our own. Which is exactly what I was going to follow up with until you started uncorking and bleating.

I WILL make my contribution, but over the next few days or so I've got some serious family health issues to deal with, so I'm not really in a blogging state of mind nor have the time. I'll uphold my part of the blog in time though, I assure you of that.
