This thread is like an ordinary, every day drive to work with random explosions happening on the side of the road as you go.

Following the speeches tonight is a good idea. I'll be out until probably 9 pm-ish my time so if someone else has the time to step in and pick it up, sound off and take it.

You've got three paragraphs/sentences in the second half that are acting like links (which don't go anywhere). Are they supposed to be links? Or should they be "quote" type paragraphs, indented and blue like your first part?

Also Muley, fix the last three paragraphs of your article, so they are spaced out.

Anyone that has an issue with my pedantry can go squat on something sharp and take it for a spin. I'm just minding the curb appeal.
