And as for Mule calling me Jersey Lite, go f*ck yourself. I have fantastic grammar and spelling. Seriously, my political stance is strange and more often than not I would consider myself liberal, but there are several subjects with which I agree with you and WAF in general on. On social matters I am exceedingly liberal, but I also have a problem with governments and crooked politicians telling me what do and how to live. I am completely capable of deciding what is wrong and what is right without someone telling me and for that, I refuse to label myself and side with one political party, forever and always. But that's the problem with so many people these days, no one thinks for themselves anymore.

Then again, I am a young white male who is destined to spend the rest of his life in academia, what the hell do you expect?

Well we can argue that all day, but in the end that answer comes down to an opinion, and in this blog's opinion the answer is modern liberalism.

Fact of the matter is, you signed up as a contributor to a blog where one of the people you have long running MOFO battles with isn't just another contributor, he's an admin. We all knew this walking in.

Still, the argument isn't about you per se, really, it's about whether we're going to allow an "other side of the fence" viewpoint, and honestly I see both sides of the argument right now.

My view on it right now at 0600 in the morning is we've had a few days of meaningful contributions to the blog, we can afford to let the KO vs. Jersey slugfest stew for a few more days and see how things continue to take shape. If we decide as a group that we don't want to have a liberal viewpoint displayed at all, we'll resolve it.

DDP, we know you can contribute with a wide range of ideas and viewpoints, that's why you were a given as a contributor when this thing was born.
