Obama is without any doubt more intelligent, more refined and evenhanded than the Republican adversary. McCain is old, uncultivated, unintelligent, belligerent and in terribly poor health.

I don't think anyone is saying that he is in "terribly poor health". I think a lot of people are concerned that this 72 year old man has nearly 1200 pages of medical records accumulated from just EIGHT YEARS. PTSD and four seperate bouts of cancer at that age, plus adding the additional stresses that come with the Presidency (and having someone like Palin waiting in the wings) definitely makes his health an issue. He could live to 100, or his ticker could give out in 100 minutes - that is a risk that some people don't want to gamble with.

I'd rather gamble that McCain will live than gamble with Obama as prez.
